Designing Naghma, an instrument marketplace

A marketplace for buying and selling new and used musical instruments. What a buyer of a used instrument cares about most is its condition and a fair price, and what a seller needs most is a quick listing that reaches the right people.

Three Naghma screens: home with instrument categories, an oud’s page with its price indicator, and negotiating in the chat

01The challenge

A used instrument, bought with confidence.

A marketplace for buying and selling new and used musical instruments. What a buyer of a used instrument cares about most is its condition and a fair price, and what a seller needs most is a quick listing that reaches the right people.

02Scope and our team’s role

From the listing to tracking the order.

  1. 01The buyer’s journey, from welcome to tracking the order
  2. 02An instrument’s page with its condition and price indicator
  3. 03Adding a listing and negotiating in the chat
  4. 04The seller dashboard and verified shop profiles
  5. 05The price guide, and booking teachers and repair workshops

03How we delivered it

Everything that reassures the buyer, in its place.

Our team put everything a buyer needs to decide on the instrument’s page: its condition, the price indicator, the seller and the option of an inspection before collection. Then it made negotiating, paying and tracking short steps, one after another. All names, numbers and brands in the screens are illustrative.
