Designing Afrah wa Munasabat, an app for planning weddings and events
An app where couples and families plan their weddings and events: they find vendors and book them, and manage the guest list, invitations, tasks and budget. The challenge was bringing all these parts into one app without the user getting lost among them, with a side of its own for vendors.

02Scope and our team’s role
From the type of event to the invitation card.
- 01The introduction, sign-up and choosing the type of event
- 02Home, vendors and a vendor’s page
- 03Requesting a quote, confirming the booking, and My bookings
- 04The task list and the budget
- 05Guests and designing the invitation
- 06The vendor’s dashboard and requests
03How we delivered it
Every event has its own plan.
Our team made the event the centre of the app: the user starts by choosing its type, home is built around it with the countdown and the vendor categories, and tasks, budget and guests sit in clear tabs. Vendors have an interface of their own to follow their requests and upcoming events. All names, numbers and brands in the screens are illustrative.
