Designing Sufra, a recipe and cooking app
A recipe app for the world’s kitchens: the user picks a dish, cooks it step by step, and orders any missing ingredients without leaving the recipe. The challenge was keeping the recipe easy to follow while cooking.

02Scope and our team’s role
From choosing a dish to the ingredients arriving.
- 01The introduction and choosing favourite cuisines
- 02Home, search and exploring cuisines on the map
- 03The recipe page and the step-by-step cook mode
- 04Matching ingredients, the basket, checkout and tracking
- 05My collections, adding a recipe and the profile
03How we delivered it
One step on screen at a time.
Our team designed cook mode to show one step in large type with its timer, readable from a distance while the user cooks, and linked the recipe page to the basket: missing ingredients become an order in one tap. All names, numbers and brands in the screens are illustrative.
