Designing Mazad Live, a live-stream auction app
A live-stream auction app: the seller shows each piece on camera, and viewers watch, comment and bid at the same time. The challenge was keeping bidding clear and quick without covering the stream.

01The challenge
The seller shows the piece; viewers bid live.

02Scope and our team’s role
From the live stream to tracking the order.
- 01Signing in with a mobile number, and home with live and upcoming auctions
- 02Browsing categories and a seller’s page
- 03The live-stream screen with comments and the bidding timer
- 04Confirming a bid and tracking the order
- 05The seller dashboard and setting up a stream
03How we delivered it
The bid within reach for the whole stream.
Our team placed bidding at the bottom of the live screen, within reach of the thumb, with a clear timer and the highest bid, and left the top of the screen to the piece and the comments. In their dashboard the seller sees their pieces and next stream, and sets up a stream in one step. All names and numbers in the screens are illustrative.
