Designing Sushal, a walking app where Kuwait’s districts compete
An app that turns daily walking into a habit: it counts steps on its own, gives each person a plan that fits, and has each district compete in challenges with prizes from local sponsors.

01The challenge
Every step lifts your district.
An app that turns daily walking into a habit: it counts steps on its own, gives each person a plan that fits, and has each district compete in challenges with prizes from local sponsors.
02Scope and our team’s role
From sign-up to a live challenge.
- 01The user journey from sign-up to joining a challenge, in eight steps
- 02UI design for the core screens: Home, Challenges, District ranking, My plan and badges, Community and Account
- 03The points, badges and streak system
- 04A showcase presentation of the app
03How we delivered it
Simple to use, fun to compete.
Our team built the experience on three ideas: steps that count with no effort, a daily goal each person chooses, and a contest between districts that makes walking the talk of the neighbourhood. All names, numbers and sponsors in the screens are illustrative.
